Day 1 (Wednesday, August 12th): Crossed the border into Canada into Osoyoos and then took Hwy 3 to Christina Lake stopping in Grand Forks for lunch at A&W. Stayed at an AirBNB house where we rented a room in somebody's house.
Day 2 (Thursday, August 13th): Drove to Harrop, BC after eating lunch in Nelson, BC.
Day 3 (Friday, August 14th): Drove to Trout Lake via Kaslo, New Denver and Nakusp. Stayed at the Trout Lake Lodge.
Day 4 (Saturday, August 15th): Drove to Revelstoke taking the Ferry from Galena Bay to Shelter Bay.
Day 5 (Sunday, August 16th): Had to have an emergency tire replacement on Marsallai's bike. Drove to the top of Mt Revelstoke park and then relaxed the rest of the day.
Day 6 (Monday, August 17th): Drove to Lake Louise, driving on the Hwy 1 (Transcontinental Hwy) going through Roger's Pass, Glacier National Park, ate lunch at Subway in Golden and got a room at the Lake Louise Inn. We ate at the Train Depot.
Day 7 (Tuesday, August 18th): Visited Lake Louise and took the Gondola at the Ski Resort to look at bears, but none showed:( We did have some awesome views of the valley from above.
Day 8 (Wednesday, August 19th): Drove to Cranbrook via Radium Springs and stayed at the Lazy Bear Inn right in Cranbrook.
Day 9 (Thursday, August 20th): Drove to Trail, BC and stayed at the Best Western Hotel via Creston and Salmo. We stopped in Creston for lunch.
Day 10 (Friday, August 21st): Drove to the K Diamond K lodge, just south of Republic, Washington via Christina Lake and Grand Forks crossing the USA border at Danville.
Day 11 (Saturday, August 22nd): Rode horses at the K Diamond K lodge and drove back to Oroville via Wauconda, Bodie, and Chesaw because of the fires.
